As the world marks Earth Day 2024, we take the opportunity to shine a spotlight on the fantastic innovators taking part in the Mombasa Plastics Prize Incubator
Today marks Earth Day, a global event which aims to highlight the importance of protecting the environment and tackling the major issues facing it for future generations. The 2o24 theme is “Planet vs Plastics”, an apt topic for the MPP Incubator teams, who are all working on impressive, innovative solutions to tackle rising levels of plastic waste in Mombasa County’s informal settlements.
Ahead of our innovator teams convening at an exciting showcase event in May, we wanted to take this opportunity to celebrate them and their amazing achievements during the Incubator Program.
