Since launching the Varanasi City Challenge on the 27 June 2024, we have been overwhelmed by the level of responses to the Challenge. As such, we are pleased to announce that we are extending the entry deadline!
The new deadline for the Varanasi City Challenge will be Thursday 10 October 2024 -13:00 UTC (18:30 IST). This extension provides more time for innovators to submit their solutions, to help make crowded areas of Varanasi's old city of Kashi safer and more accessible for religious tourists, local residents and vulnerable populations.
We encourage all interested parties who have not yet submitted their entries to take advantage of this extended deadline.
For those who have already submitted, you are welcome to revise and edit your entries. Our goal is to support the development of the most impactful and well-thought-out solutions to address the challenges of urban sustainability.
