Drawing on a policy background and 10+ years across social impact organisations, she brings expertise in complex programme delivery and cross-sector partnerships to help deliver innovation challenges. Her work includes the £7.5M Longitude Prize on ALS (on data-led drug discovery), and previously the £4M Longitude Prize on Dementia (on assistive technology)..Prior to joining Challenge Works, Fernanda led cross-sector initiatives at the intersection of social impact and policy change. Her background includes leading grassroots labour rights programmes at Oxfam Mexico, establishing clean energy partnerships for rural communities at iluméxico, and working on international human rights agendas at the Mexican Ministry of Foreign Affairs. She has also served as an independent consultant on social policy to the European Commission.Fernanda holds an MSc in International Social and Public Policy from the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) and a Bachelor of Law from Universidad Iberoamericana in Mexico City.
