Ceci is a public health program specialist trained as a physician in Peru. She is recognised for designing and leading projects to address complex science and health policy issues, particularly in global health security and pandemic preparedness and response.

In her current role, she directs the team at the US National Academy of Medicine that supports the work of the G20 High-Level Panel.
