lse Treurnicht’s career spans scientific research and commercialisation, building health and cleantech firms, venture/impact capital and public policy.
Ilse served as CEO of MaRS Discovery District (marsdd.com), from her role as CEO of Primaxis Technology Ventures, a seed stage venture capital firm (1999-2005).
She has served on a number of government advisory boards and is currently a member of the Advisory Committee on Open Banking and chairs the Impact Canada Advisory Committee.
