Sir John Gieve is an independent director of VocaLink, the UK provider of payment systems, and of CLS, the forex settlement company.
He is also Deputy Chair of Homerton NHS Trust, and a regular commentator on economic policy.
He was Deputy Governor of the Bank of England from 2006 to 2009. From 2001 to 2005, he was Permanent Secretary of the Home Office.
