Barbara is a Programme Manager at Challenge Works, working on the Longitude Prize on Dementia within the Global Health team.

Barbara is passionate about investigating and implementing innovative solutions to international development issues. She has worked across a wide range of industries in Mexico and in the UK, including the charity sector, impact investing, and AI unicorn startups. Barbara has experience managing teams, projects and conducting financial and data analysis. She holds an MSc in Development Studies from LSE and a BA in Economics from the Instituto Tecnologico de Mexico in Mexico City.

In her spare time, Barbara enjoys being outdoors, either reading a good book, skating, or exploring nature and the city.
