Daniel, an experienced leader in international health care innovation began his career supporting pharmaceutical companies to introduce innovative products in the US and Europe.
He then spent 16 years at Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) where he focused on creating links between health care innovators and product developers/manufacturers to bring novel products to lower and middle-income countries (LMICs).
At Challenge Works Daniel heads the Global Health team that is currently running the Longitude Prize on AMR and the Global Surgical Training Challenge focused on adapting simulation training for surgeons in LMICs.
His team is also working on completing a Dementia Prize to incentivise creation of personalised and accessible tools for people living with cognitive impairment. They have also designed a Prize designed to create biofeedback tools to help people manage chronic pain.
