At Challenge Works, Haru has worked on the Climate Smart City Challenge and researching a challenge focused on Canadian food resilience.
She is particularly interested in health systems thinking, wider social determinants of health and climate mitigation innovations.
Haru is passionate about using research methods as a tool for achieving social impact. She has a background in Global health and International development.
Before joining Challenge Works, Haru worked in the People Powered Results team.
Outside of work, Haru is passionate about painting, photography, hiking and anything to do with biology and intersectional environmentalism!
