Naomi Whitbourn

At Challenge Works, Naomi is a Programme Manager within the International Development team, managing prizes such as the Ghana Science and Tech Explorer Prize (GSTEP).
Before joining Challenge Works, she worked in PwC’s International Development team, managing projects and programmes across the Middle East, Sub-Saharan Africa and South Asia.
She worked closely with the UK government’s Foreign Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO) and Department for International Trade (DIT), as well as international government bodies and foundations.
Naomi has also worked with several charities, including the Refugee Council and Capoeira 4 Refugees, which builds upon her academic background and strong interest in migration and refugee policy.
Outside work, she can usually be found outdoors (usually walking or cycling), enjoying live music or chatting to guests on her podcast (Voices of Development).
