At Challenge Works, Vidal leads on research and evaluation work to better understand the impact of our programme of challenge prizes.

Before joining Challenge Works, Vidal had extensive experience as a researcher in roles spanning the civil service, charities and the private sector, and more recently was part of the evaluation team at The National Lottery Community Fund.

He completed his research degree at Leeds University Business School, where his work focused on the impact of regulation on small and medium-sized enterprises.

In his spare time, Vidal likes to buy records that he rarely actually plays and is trying to get his Norwegian up to the level that it should be.
