We are delighted to invite you to attend the Afri-Plastics Summit & Awards, a Challenge Works event showcasing innovative solutions for marine plastic pollution in Sub-Saharan Africa. The event will include two days of experts sharing their knowledge and experience, networking opportunities, showcasing and celebrating the nine winners of the Afri-Plastics Challenge. Over the past 12 months, 40 innovators from across Sub-Saharan Africa have been developing their solutions to combat plastic waste as part of the Afri-Plastics Challenge, funded by Global Affairs Canada. The Afri-Plastics Summit & Awards will feature the finalists who will showcase their solutions, all building up to the announcement of the winners at a ceremony on the 16th March.

We will be joined for in-depth conversations with a range of local and international experts and speakers on the marine plastic ecosystem in the region, with the opportunity to network and exchange ideas.
