What is next for London and how can we be better prepared for future disruptive challenges? Join us for the Mayor’s Resilience Fund Awards Ceremony.

You’ll have a chance to meet 10 ground-breaking start-ups that are developing new ways to address key challenges set by the Mayor to support the city’s recovery from Covid-19 – ranging from air pollution and mental health to regenerating high streets and creating more affordable workspace.

You’ll also hear from top experts about their views on London’s future prospects and opportunities.

The Mayor of London’s Chief Digital Officer, Theo Blackwell will discuss how open innovation can help boost London’s resilience, and a panel discussion will highlight the potential and opportunities for London moving forward.

  • Welcome from Tris Dyson, Managing Director of Nesta Challenges who will introduce the event chair Rachael Burford, Local Democracy Reporter at the Evening Standard.
  • Learn about the winners of the 10 challenges of the Mayor’s Resilience Fund, which seeks to incentivise innovators to address socially impactful issues facing London, help us emerge stronger from COVID-19 and ensure the capital is prepared for future disruptive challenges.

  • Each of the 10 winners will run a 10 minute session, pitching their solution and answering questions. You can choose one session to attend per showcase.

  • Hear about the importance of innovative data-led approaches to service delivery,  and partnerships among the public, private and community sectors to accelerate open innovation and forward-thinking strategies to boost London’s resilience.
