Harry is a Programme Coordinator at Challenge Works, where he helps deliver innovation competitions across the Ofwat Water Innovation Fund portfolio and the Water Efficiency Lab. He likes playing a part in helping ambitious ideas deliver meaningful, lasting impact. Before joining Challenge Works, Harry worked within the UK Government’s health security department. He held a variety of roles delivering projects aimed at strengthening the national diagnostic service infrastructure. During the pandemic, he was seconded to the New Variant Assessment Platform - a flagship global health initiative. In this role, he helped coordinate the deployment of the UK’s genomic sequencing and virus assessment expertise to support international partners in detecting emerging COVID-19 variants and strengthening global pandemic preparedness. In his free time, you’ll likely find Harry at his record player, skiing in the mountains, training for his next running event or exploring the outdoors with his wife and dog.
